I'm very thankful to my mom and lil' sis for spending their time and effort creating these lovely hantaran. I really hope that Nita and her family likes them. I'm also thankful to Nitahain and her parents for the hantaran given to me. Nita told me that Azura (Nita's lil' sis) did most of the decorating. Thanks Zura... you're one heck of a creative genius. They are very beautiful and classy.
18 Dec 2004: Joe n Nitahain got engaged in a beautiful ceremony in Shah Alam.
I know that we surprised a lot of friends by being engaged. Some say that it was too fast... too early to be true.
The truth is I have admired this girl for quite a long time. Years to be exact. However, I never had the guts to actually tell her my feelings all these years.
I finally gathered enough strength to write her as SMS. Simply hoping for a friendly reply. Thank god... the reply was friendly enough. It actually made my day. It made me stronger and braver. Then I decided to call her and ask her out. The rest is history and we finally got engaged. I will not reveal any details here but I guess I did things right.
